Khalifa orders urgent aids for flood victims in Pakistan

As per directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, may God save and bless him; Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation prepares emergency relief aids to be dispatched promptly to Pakistan to help accommodate those displaced by the floods that hit many parts of northwest Pakistan yesterday. These aids include tents, blankets, medical supplies and foodstuffs.

The UN Humanitarian Affairs Office has stated that more than half a million people were affected in various areas of Pakistan as a result of the worst flooding witnessed by Pakistan since 1929 with more than 100 villages inundated by the floods which claimed losing the lives of about 400 people.
