Her Highness Sheikha Rawdha bint Ahmed bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, donated a sum of 90 thousand dirhams to the ‘We Protect You From Heat’ initiative, launched by the Al Ihsan Charity Association in Ras Al Khaimah. With the aim of distributing refrigerators and air conditioners to those in need, this donation comes in line with consolidating cooperation and coordination ties between the Al Maktoum Foundation and Al Ihsan, and within their commitment to strengthening partnership between each other.
The Al Maktoum Foundation signed a mutual understanding agreement with the Al Ihsan Association (Ras Al Khaimah Branch), with the aim of strengthening cooperation and coordination, as well as opening strategic horizons under the umbrella of humanitarian and charity work in the UAE. The agreement was signed by Mohammed Obaid bin Ghannam, Secretary General of the Al Maktoum Foundation and Dr. Hakki Ismail CEO of the Al Ihsan. Bin Ghannam said that based on the vision of the wise leadership, and the guidance of the Foundation’s patron, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance, and in order to consolidate the bonds of cooperation, Sheikha Rawdha made this generous donation to the needy families in Ras Al Khaimah. Dr. Hakki pointed out that the Al Ihsan seeks to activate and increase humanitarian and charity partnerships with various entities in the UAE.))
