Al-Nouri Charity opens a school for Syrian refugees in Turkey

The Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society announced the opening of a school for Syrian refugees in the city (Sanliurfa) in southern Turkey
. In a speech during the opening ceremony of the (Taiba) Middle School, the association has focused since the beginning of the Syrian crisis on relief projects such as distributing food baskets, tents and medical support, in addition to its keenness Supporting educational projects, sponsoring students, and building and renovating schools, and
stressed that His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may his soul rest in peace, the Kuwaiti government and all NGOs had a role in carrying the suffering of the Syrians since the beginning of the Syrian crisis.
He explained that the State of Kuwait hosted the donors’ conference on the Syrian crisis in On three occasions, humanitarian donations were made for the relief of the Syrian people
He expressed his thanks to the Turkish government and the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Association (ATAA) for their contribution to the construction of the Taiba School, wishing that these humanitarian activities would continue in an increasing manner
. For his part, the Governor of (Şanlıurfa) Abdullah Eren expressed his thanks to the Abdullah Al-Nuri Association and the (Ataa) Association for their efforts in Building the school
In a similar speech, Eren praised the support provided by Kuwaiti associations and institutions to the Syrians in Şanlıurfa, stressing the depth of friendship between Turkey and the State of Kuwait and the urgent need to build more schools to accommodate the largest possible number of refugee students in the city
. Abdul Rahman Al-Shardoub that the school, which accommodates 816 students, consists of four floors and contains 24 classrooms, in addition to administrative and service facilities.
In a similar speech, Al-Shardoub praised the great role of the State of Kuwait in supporting the Syrians in various fields of humanitarian work, especially in the education sector
