Relief of Sudan with 30 tons of aid for flood victims

The UAE provided relief through a plane carrying 30 tons of relief aid to the victims of torrential rains and floods in Sudan, and implemented a relief program for those affected, targeting thousands of families affected by the torrential rains that swept the capital, Khartoum, and separate parts of the country.

30 tons of basic relief and shelter materials were distributed, including 3,000 blankets and 700 tents, in addition to hygiene, sterilization and insecticides to help those affected by the floods cope with the conditions they live in..

The Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and several areas in Sudan have recently witnessed unprecedented rains that have resulted in torrential rains and floods that have killed dozens, led to power outages, displaced thousands of people, destroyed homes and properties, and severely damaged public facilities and infrastructure.
