The Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation provides the Tunisian Association of the Deaf and Mute with the latest equipment in the Ben Guerdane region

A delegation from the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works provided the Tunisian Association of the Deaf and Dumb in Ben Guerdane with all its requirements of furniture and equipment. This comes within the framework of the Foundation’s plan to provide assistance to all centers for people with special needs and schools in the Ben Guerdane area, close to the Emirati relief camp located in the Ras Jedir border area between Tunisia and Libya.
The delegation of the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works included Mr. Abdullah Al Zaabi and Juma Al-Kuwaiti.
The delegation was received when visiting the Tunisian Association of the Deaf and Dumb in Ben Guerdane, Dr. Abdel Hamid Trabelsi, president of the association.
Mr. Abdullah Al Zaabi said that this visit aims to help the people of the region, in which more than 120,000 people live, and that this comes within the framework of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, to meet the needs of centers for people with special needs and schools in the region to help the brothers in Tunisia .
He pointed out that the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works was one of the first institutions that took the initiative to attend within the Emirati relief team to contribute to alleviating the suffering of the displaced from Libya and help the people of the region.
For his part, Dr. Abdel Hamid Trabelsi, President of the Tunisian Association for the Deaf and Dumb, confirmed that the association was in dire need to re-furnish it and provide it with equipment to provide care to deaf and dumb children in the region. Immediately within 72 hours to provide all the needs of the association.
The president of the association noted that the UAE, through the presence of the UAE relief team, which provides great services to the displaced from Libya, did not forget to help the people of the region.
Trabelsi commended the award presented by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works and said that the UAE is a pioneer in the field of humanitarian work and has always had a national and Arab sense.
All the workers of the Tunisian Association of the Deaf and Mute thanked and appreciated the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works for this generous gesture that brought joy to the hearts of the children, wishing the UAE further progress and prosperity.
