Water wells Built in a Number of Schools

On March 2, 2017, the association opened 16 wells in a number of schools in Tanzania, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Buildings Company.

The project aims to provide fresh and clean drinking water to school students and residents in the most water-scarce areas of Dar es Salaam. This is the first of its kind, implemented by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society in Tanzania and is part of its projects in Africa to improve the humanitarian situation amid drought in the Horn of Africa.

Tanzania and other East African countries suffer from drought, lack of naturally occurring water reserves and food.
