Khalifa Foundation for Humanitarian Works establishes a hospital in Kazakhstan

The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works has completed a “maternity hospital project” in the city of Shymkent, the second largest city in the Republic of Kazakhstan in terms of population, within the framework of the medical and educational assistance provided by the Foundation to the needy in many brotherly and friendly countries.

The Foundation has undertaken to equip the hospital with the latest medical devices and equipment, as it was called the “Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital” with the aim of providing health care services for women “maternity and childbirth”, while the project was designed to accommodate / 120 / beds, 12 of which are intensive care beds and eight beds for newborns. the new ones.

The project aims to raise the medical level for the treatment of mothers, infants and children and to reduce the cost of treatment for poor families. The project contains internal departments, which are “obstetrics and gynecology, neonatology and surgery”.

The main building of the hospital has been completed, and medical devices and equipment will be supplied later, and work is continuing on the external yard work, such as the fence and other project services, as it is nearing completion.
The hospital consists of outpatient clinics, internal treatment, physiotherapy for pregnant women, laboratories, a maternity ward, four operating rooms, intensive care rooms and sterilization rooms. The hospital also contains administration offices, doctors’ offices and an in-patient restaurant.

The hospital is considered one of the most modern and best hospitals in the city, while serving the 1.2 million residents of Shymkent and the southern regions of Kazakhstan.

The United Arab Emirates, whether at the governmental level or at the level of institutions such as the Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works, is keen to provide development and humanitarian aid to many countries of the world with the aim of helping them achieve their development goals.

The UAE is also a pioneer in providing material and moral support to Kazakhstan through the establishment of many development and health projects there.
