EASTER CHURCH BOMBING VICTIMS

Muslim Aid USA provided aid to the Easter Sunday Church bomb victims. The project is benefiting children who lost their parents in this tragedy. The financial support will help them continue their education, and also provide psycho social assistance for those who have suffered from the trauma. The project was implemented in the Colombo, Batticaloa and Gampaha Districts.

The Sri Lankan anti-Muslim riots were a series of religious riots targeting Muslims that began in the Sri Lankan town of Ampara on the 26th of February 2018. It spread to Kandy District by the 2nd of March until its end on the 10th of March 2018.
Muslim Aid USA provided livelihood grants to victims of the riots to restore their homes and businesses.
