House and Bridge Construction and Renovation

The Society adopted the construction and repair of a number of houses affected by the floods in 2014, which caused the demolition of many houses in Serbia in cooperation with the Embassy of the State of Kuwait and the relevant Serbian  authorities.

New houses were built in the flooded area with a donation from the Society under the supervision of the Embassy of the State of Kuwait.

The floods destroyed about 500 houses, damaged more than 1,700 in the city of Opremovac, and many people have lost their homes and were in dire need of help.

The association, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti embassy in Belgrade, also handed over the project to rebuild two bridges in Serbia, which were also destroyed by the floods.
