His Excellency Yousef Rashid Al Marshoudi – Director of Fujairah Charity Society announced the launch of the Qurbani campaign ((Your sacrifice is joy and reward)) inside and outside the country, and the distribution of Eid clothing and fruit basket to orphans and needy families, in cooperation and coordination with the emirate’s institutions, pointing out that the association, in cooperation with the Department of Abattoirs in Fujairah Municipality, will slaughter, transport and distribute sacrificial meat, in line with preventive and precautionary measures, and the campaign this year targets the distribution of sacrificial meat to 7000 families, by 2000 families. Inside and 5000 outside the country and the number can be increased.
Al-Marshoudi said that the association set the value of the sacrifice at 550 dirhams inside the country and 400 dirhams outside the country, while the value of Eid clothing for orphans is 500 dirhams, and the fruit basket is 150 dirhams.
He explained that the association and to facilitate the donors provide its representatives in more than (24) sites in various regions of Fujairah, in addition to the identification of five abattoirs for the slaughter of sacrifices in the emirate (Fujairah – Masafi – profitable – Dibba – Bidyah) has also been allocated boxes of cork with ice to save the sacrifice and deliver it refrigerated to those who deserve it according to food safety procedures, and can also contribute to the project with ease and ease through the website of the association.
Al-Marshoudi stressed the association’s keenness to help benefactors deliver their sacrifices to those who deserve them, noting that the association’s electronic channels are open to receive all donations targeting needy families and orphans.
