Youssef Rashid Al Marshodi, Director of the Fujairah Charity Association, said that on the first days of Eid Al-Adha, the association implemented the sacrifice campaign under the slogan “Your sacrifice is a joy and a reward.” With government institutions in the emirate. He pointed out that the association, in cooperation with the Department of Abattoirs in the Municipality of Fujairah, identified five slaughterhouses for slaughtering sacrificial animals in Fujairah – Masafi – Murbah – Dibba – Bidiyah, where the slaughtering, transportation and distribution of sacrificial meat was carried out on the same day of slaughter to the eligible groups.
He explained that the association set the value of the sacrifice at 550 dirhams inside the country and 400 dirhams outside the country, and the value of Eid clothing for orphans is 500 dirhams, while the value of the fruit basket is 150 dirhams. Al-Marshudi added that the association, in order to facilitate the donors, has allocated delegates in more than 24 locations in various regions of Fujairah, and cork boxes with ice have been allocated to preserve the sacrifice and deliver it chilled to those who deserve it, according to food safety procedures.
