The Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society announced the fruits of its campaign to implement the sacrifice project for the year 2020 inside and outside Kuwait. Abdullatif Al-Dawas, the director of the Society’s Resources and Information Development Department, said, “The society carried out nearly 10,000 sacrifices, distributed between Kuwait and 22 other countries, with 533,000 beneficiaries, and at a total cost of 595,000 dinars.”
Al-Dawas indicated that the sacrifice project derives its importance from its symbolic significance, as it is one of the manifestations of the nation’s unity, compassion and solidarity among its people, praising the role of the honorable benefactors who supported the project and provided their donations as food for the poor and needy in various continents around the world.
