Al-Nouri Charity “runs 9 relief convoys in support of the afflicted in Lebanon”

As part of its relief campaign in support of those affected by the explosion that occurred last week in the port of Beirut, the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charitable Society announced the operation of 9 relief convoys, in cooperation with a number of Lebanese charitable institutions.

Director of the Resources Development and Media Department at Al-Nouri Charity Abdullatif Al-Dawas said that the association launched its relief campaign “Reassure Beirut” immediately after the incident in support of the afflicted and relief for the homeless, explaining that the association provided food parcels and medical aid in addition to the maintenance and restoration of many houses damaged by the explosion at a cost of 50 A thousand dinars benefited 5,600 affected people.

Al-Dawas pointed out that the Al-Nouri Charitable Society provides these reliefs in coordination and cooperation with Lebanese humanitarian institutions accredited to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in the interest of the Society to deliver the donors’ funds to their beneficiaries, and in line with the regulations and laws regulating charitable work inside Kuwait, which are subject to continuous monitoring and follow-up by the Ministry affairs

He also extended his deep thanks, on behalf of the association, to the honorable benefactors, to those who were horrified to rescue and relief the brotherly Lebanese people during this difficult situation, praising Kuwait’s humanitarian stances and its tireless efforts in supporting the affected and afflicted in various regions.
