The association provides them with cash assistance on a monthly basis, supports the education of their children, and provides them with everything that raises the quality of their life, with additional support to make them happy on occasions and holidays, in addition to about 1,400 orphans, hundreds of people of determination, the elderly, and other emergency cases complaining of distress or a compelling financial deficit that harms their lives and future.
“Beit Al Khair” launched the “Food for All” project, which targets the category of resident workers of different nationalities, as the number of meals distributed to them since 2016 until now has reached more than 8.3 million meals, including meals that were distributed as iftar for fasting people in Ramadan, in addition to To the distribution of water and chilled juices and the provision of some workers’ housing with water coolers and sterilization materials, bringing the value of what the association distributed to workers and beneficiaries 70 million dirhams, in addition to more than 107 million dirhams, the value of the various food support, provided to support the pension of needy and low-income families in the same period .
In recent years, the association has been active in supporting patients of all nationalities, and has dedicated two initiatives to support critical cases that require expensive surgeries or treatments, through the weekly Fazaa electronic campaigns and the “Zayed Al-Khair” program broadcast on Radio Al-Oula (frequency 107.4), and calls upon Citizens and residents have the right to donate to these cases, and what was spent on a treatment project during the last five years amounted to more than 34 million dirhams, and more than 3125 needy patients benefited from it.
During the first four months of the Covid-19 crisis alone, Beit Al Khair spent 100.4 million dirhams, benefiting 3,022,745 individuals and families, during which the association distributed 3.2 million meals to quarantined patients and resident workers, as part of the initiative of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum. , Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Emirates Food Bank Foundation, and she is still doing her duty regarding the complications of this pandemic, and supports societal efforts to mitigate its effects on needy families and those affected by the infection.
