Beit Al Khair affirmed that the United Arab Emirates provides a unique model in humanitarian giving and helping the needy around the world, noting the importance of supporting the “One Billion Meals” initiative to achieve its noble humanitarian goals.
Saeed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Deputy Director General of Beit Al Khair Society, expressed his pride in the “One Billion Meals” initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may God protect him, and said: “As usual every year, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum surprises us. Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, with his humanitarian initiatives, which reflect the values of the UAE and the spirit of fear and solidarity in it, and embody his saying, which has become a curriculum for workers in the charitable field, “No one will get sick. No one will need. No one will go hungry on the land of the Emirates, without everyone caring about it,” which was manifested in the initiative he sponsored to feed the food, and was adopted by Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, may God protect her, and distributed 15 million meals, followed by the “100 million meals” campaign. , which has achieved its goals by the grace of God, and here His Highness is expanding the circle of giving to distribute one billion meals in 50 countries, under the slogan “He who is full and his neighbor is hungry does not believe.”
Al Mazrouei added: “Beit Al Khair Association took the initiative to participate in the One Billion Meals campaign through its annual Iftar fasting project, which it started by distributing 20,000 meals on its first day, and the numbers rose to more than 22,000 meals per day, with a total of 223,113 meals distributed during the first ten days of the month. Ramadan, which means that by the end of the holy month, about 700,000 breakfast meals can be reached, and we hope for more with God’s help.”
He called on Al Mazrouei to participate in the campaign, and said: “I am honored to take the opportunity to invite to contribute to this great charitable work, each according to his ability. , may God protect him, and with this participation, we have gathered love and obedience to God and His Messenger, as well as obedience to the ruler, and our emirates do not differentiate between any nationality, race or religion, and it is the country of goodness, giving, development and sacrifice for the sake of our brothers in need in all parts of the earth, and we are optimistic about achieving the goal of the campaign , but also by surpassing it, out of our belief in God Almighty, and in the luminous vision of His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and our confidence in the generous giving of the people of the Emirates and those residing on its good land.
