BEIT AL KHAIR SPENDS 8.7 MILLION DIRHAMS TO TREAT PATIENTS

Abdeen Taher Al-Awadi, Director General of the “Beit Al Khair” Association, announced that the total amount spent by the association on treating patients in 2021 exceeds 8.7 million dirhams, of which 2.8 million dirhams were collected by the “Zayed Al-Khair” program on Radio Al Oula, which is a radio program. Bi-monthly collects donations for patients who are in critical condition, as the number of patients benefiting from this program last year reached 83 patients, while the Fazaa electronic campaigns for emergency support were able to help 20 patients with an amount of 474,138 dirhams.

 

The “Elaa” project is one of the most important community initiatives launched by “Beit Al Khair” in recent years, to help residents and the lowest-income patients, which is one of the reasons for which “Beit Al Khair” was awarded the ISO certificate for social responsibility in accordance with Specification 26000, twice in a row in 2015 and 2018. .

 

Abdeen Taher Al-Awadi, Director General of “Beit Al Khair”, confirmed that the association started this project in cooperation with the Dubai Health Authority in 2012, and it is growing increasingly, especially after the Corona pandemic, and he stated that the “Zayed Al-Khair” program presents critical cases of insolvent patients who are more urgent and in need of treatment. Urgent surgeries or expensive medicines, and Al-Awadi called on esteemed benefactors to donate to these cases to promote human growth and social solidarity between citizens and residents within the country.
