Search and rescue efforts continue. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, continues their search and rescue efforts that have started in the very first hours of the earthquake with 65 teams consisting of 1447 people. IHH Chairman Bülent Yıldırım, IHH Executive Board members and 184 coordination officers are also in the area to coordinate IHH’s operations in the affected cities. IHH Search and Rescue Teams have rescued 260 people alive from the rubble so far.
Hot meals has been given out to 470,000 people
IHH is also rushing to the aid of all the people affected by the earthquake by providing food, shelter and clothing through its emergency aid distribution team consisting of 1728 people. So far, hot meals have been distributed to 470,000 people by IHH. 2 mobile soup kitchen continue to distribute hot meal to the citizens. In addition, 219 trucks containing supplies such as food, boots, coats, diapers, flour and water set out for the cities affected by the earthquake.
509,000 loaves of bread have been given out
