In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him” and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, to provide food aid to the brotherly Egyptian people.. The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Works has launched a project Distribution of one million food baskets in all governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
An official source at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Foundation for Humanitarian Works said that this food aid comes in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership to provide the necessary food needs for the poor and needy, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
For its part, the Egyptian Orman Society praised the efforts of the Khalifa Humanitarian Foundation in dealing with the various humanitarian cases in Egypt and providing them with various forms of support.
Major General Mamdouh Shaaban, the association’s general manager, said that the association appreciates all the efforts of the foundation and its continuous support for development projects and humanitarian cases in Egypt.
He added that the Orman Association started yesterday the implementation of the project of distributing one million food baskets that include basic foodstuffs to the needy throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt, indicating that it is the largest project implemented by the Foundation during the month of Ramadan.
