Yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Aden governorate handed over specialized equipment to test and purify water and combat cholera to the Yemeni Ministry of Water and Environment, as part of a project implemented by the center in cooperation with the World Health Organization to monitor water quality in 33 districts in Yemeni governorates with a high risk of cholera outbreaks. .
These advanced technologies, God willing, will contribute to measuring the rate of water pollution and detecting diseases in the targeted districts, and will also help strengthen the capabilities of specialists in water quality testing.
The King Salman Relief Center works to improve water and sanitation services in Yemen; To eliminate cholera and other epidemic diseases, by improving access to potable water, developing medical waste management practice, and strengthening water quality control in 117 districts, in addition to supporting cholera control programs in 45 health care centers in various Yemeni governorates.
This comes within the framework of the humanitarian projects implemented by the center in the field of water and environmental sanitation in the sisterly Republic of Yemen.
