The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center in Ma’rib Governorate launched yesterday a food security project for the year 2021-2022 AD, which targets displaced and affected families in 5 Yemeni governorates.

The project, which is being implemented in 6 phases, allocated 5,600 food baskets in Marib in one phase, within the framework of distributing 93,942 food baskets, benefiting in each phase 15,607 beneficiaries in the targeted governorates.

The Undersecretary of Marib Governorate, Dr. Abd Rabbo Muftah, expressed his deep thanks to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continuous humanitarian efforts in Yemen, stressing that this project will contribute to alleviating the suffering of the displaced and needy in Marib under the exceptional circumstances in which it is living.

The project comes within the efforts presented by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to stand by the brotherly Yemeni people.
