More than 3 million dirhams have been spent by “Beit Al Khair” to treat patients since the beginning of this year

The Beit Al Khair Society, in cooperation with several authorities in the country, succeeded in contributing to the treatment of many sick cases, as it spent more than 3 million dirhams, to help 212 patients, during the first half of 2021.

 

Saeed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Deputy Director-General, stressed that helping and treating patients is one of the most important humanitarian initiatives of the association, and aims to promote the principle of social solidarity, which is the principle that the association works on, in cooperation with the competent authorities and owners of white hands, in accordance with the directives of His Excellency Juma Al Majid. Chairman of the Board of Directors, Khalifa Juma Al Naboodah, Vice Chairman of the Board, and the follow-up of the Director General, Abdeen Taher Al-Awadi, to help patients with chronic diseases, who need operations and do not have the cost of treatment, through its projects allocated to support insolvent patients, most notably the “Treat” project. The most important community initiatives launched by the association to help resident patients and the lowest income, in support of their health insurance, which may not cover the costs of their illness or surgeries, which spent one million and 294 thousand dirhams, benefiting 155 needy patients, in addition to the “Zayed Al Khair” program.Which is broadcast at 4:00 pm every Thursday on Radio Al-Oula, to show critical cases of insolvent patients, which collected 1.5 million dirhams, benefiting 48 patients.

In parallel with the “Zayed Al-Khair” program, “Beit Al Khair” launches weekly electronic scarecrows on social media, to help needy patients who are unable to provide fees and treatment requirements. insolvent patients.

 

Al Mazrouei noted that helping patients is done by studying their cases by social researchers, as it opens the door for donors to provide assistance and contribute to their treatment, and some cases are covered by the association if they need urgent treatment assistance, noting that patient support campaigns receive a remarkable interaction from Distinguished benefactors, and it has achieved great success, reflecting the extent of the love of the people of the UAE and its residents for charity and helping the needy.
