Tens of thousands of people affected by the war immigrated to different places in Yemen, where the civil war has been going on for many years. One of the migrated regions is the tent city in Marib province.
Various diseases are spreading rapidly in many parts of Yemen, including the tent city, due to water shortage and malnutrition. These diseases can turn into chronic diseases if they are not treated properly and on time.
first aid health center
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continues to support the health center, which was established 4 years ago to provide health services to the people living in the tent city, within the scope of aid activities in Yemen. In the center; examination, drug support, emergency and first aid support, classification of the results by applying medical tests, application and follow-up of child vaccinations, and directing the patients to the relevant hospitals in cases where inpatient treatment is required.
Cataract surgery for 121 people
Within the scope of its work in Yemen, IHH also performed cataract surgery on 121 blind people due to cataracts in the Ahrar Valley, which is located in Hadramaut province and is very difficult to access.
