The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has responded urgently to the damage caused by the torrential rains that fell on Al-Khokha district in Al-Hodeidah Governorate and large parts of the western coast, by draining rainwater pools and filling swamps from the streets and neighborhoods of Al-Khoukha.
The Director-General of Al-Khokha Directorate, Salem Alyan, praised the emergency response of the King Salman Relief Center through its direct and rapid interventions and its work on draining rainwater pools and filling swamps from the streets of the city of Khokha and IDP camps, adding that emergency response work contributed significantly to reducing the spread of diseases and epidemics through Mosquitoes and insects that breed with the presence of swamps and foci in the area.
Alyan expressed the thanks and appreciation of the people of Al-Khokha district, led by the leadership of the local authority in the district, to the King Salman Relief Center for its permanent support for the Yemeni people in various crises and adversities.
This comes within the framework of the water supply and environmental sanitation project implemented by the Kingdom through the center in Yemen to improve the living conditions of the brotherly Yemeni people.
